BIOGRAPHY

My name is Ida Bagus Gaga Partama. I was born in Gianyar Bali on March 12, 1959. My father was named Ida Bagus Suta (deceased) and my mother was Desak Made Geriya (deceased). I am the eldest of seven siblings. The names of my younger siblings are: Ida Bagus Gaga Adi Saputra, Ida Ayu Eka Puspita, Ida Ayu Ketut Bintang, Ida Ayu Putu Nilawati. Ida Bagus Gaga Pujangga, and Ida Ayu Nyoman Armini.

I married Ida Ayu Nyoman Saskara in 1987 and in 1988 was blessed with a daughter named Ida Ayu Ary Pramita. In 1990, a daughter named Ida Ayu Citra Pratiwi was blessed. Our two daughters have become doctors who are alumni of the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University. My first daughter has become an ophthalmologist, while her younger sister is attending an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist medical education study at the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Specialist Educator Study Program. Our two daughters are married, with the first daughter having 2 daughters, while the younger sister has a daughter who is also a girl. Meanwhile, thanks to the grace of God Almighty and the results of my wife's hard work Ida Ayu Nyoman Saskara who has served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business since 1986, was appointed by the State through the Decree of the Minister of Research in Technology and Higher Education as of 1 May 2019 as Professor Permanent Development Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

I started attending elementary school in 1967 at SD 1 Gianyar. In 1971 I moved schools to Bondowoso, East Java with my uncle Ida Bagus Tapa (my father's younger brother) who was a member of the Mobile Brigade (Police). In 1972 my uncle moved to the Bali Regional Police and automatically I moved to school in Denpasar and graduated from elementary school at Markandeya Elementary School in 1972. In 1973 I was accepted as a student at the Gianyar 1 Junior High School. In 1975 I graduated from SMPN 1 Gianyar. In 1976 I continued my studies at Ginyar State High School. In 1979 I graduated from Gianyar State High School and in September 1979 I was accepted as a student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (FKHP) of Udayana University. In 1984 I finished my study at FKHP Unud as a graduate in animal husbandry. In 1986 I was accepted as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. In 1990 I continued my studies at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) Postgraduate Program (PPs), and obtained a master's degree in 1993. In 1996 I continued my doctoral program at PPs IPB Bogor and graduated in 2000 with cum laude (Academic Achievement Index 4,0). The title of my dissertation was Energy and Protein Requirements of The Ettawah Cross for Breeding Bucks.

                In 2003, he was appointed by the Rector of Udayana University as Assistant Dean I (PD I) in Education at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. In 2007 he was reappointed as PD I until 2011. Subsequently in 2011 he was appointed by the Chancellor of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry as Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry for two periods namely 2011-2015 and 2015-2019. Furthermore, thanks to the grace of God Almighty and the results of hard work and duty with a sincere heart, finally I was appointed by the State through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia as Permanent Professor in the Field of Nutrition and Animal Feed at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Starting December 1 2019.
